The Key Monogram Tote Bags: Keepall, Neverfull, Carryall

Among the original, and most important monogrammed tote bags are the Keepall, Neverfull and Carryall. These are perhaps the LV designs that best fit the essential definition of the term tote as they are each large, two handled, wide opening canvas bags that can fit an extraordinary amount of things inside them. Being crossover designs originally intended as luggage, but sneaking into the luxury handbags fashion world, these three creations are unique in the fashion world, and epitomize the luxury tote.

The Keepall

The Keepall is a travel bag through and through. Designed in the early days of Louis Vuitton a century ago, it is meant as a carryon and comes in 3 sizes, the 45, 55 and 60. It can be held in hand or worn across the body on a shoulder strap and resembles a duffel bag in shape. It comes with an interior pocket, a luggage tag, a padlock and bronze hardware.

The Carryall

The Carryall is also among the first monogram tote bags designed by Louis Vuitton for train travel. Sized mid way between the larger Keepall and the Speedy, it is 16x11x12 and is held in hand by two cowhide leather handles. It is marked by it's convenient slip pockets at either end. It also features a luggage tag, pad lock and bronze hardware. Like other monogrammed tote bags it is virtually indestructible, fully sealed, and waterproof

The Neverfull

Styled for the beach or the market, the incredibly versatile Neverfull is an LV icon. Held in hand or tucked under the shoulder it lives up to it's name at every turn. A wide open design that comes in three sizes: GM, MM, and PM, the Neverfull doesn't need to be zipped up and so can be loaded to brimming…and often is! Of all the Monogram tote bags it is the most popular thanks to adaptable design.
